What this program is
Resonata provides an AI voice agent that answers reservation calls for hotel properties. When a caller asks for a link to complete their booking, the agent can send that link by text message — but only if the caller says yes.
This is a transactional program. It exists to deliver a link you asked for during a call. It is never used for marketing or promotional messages.
How permission is collected
Permission is verbal and is collected live on the call. After you request a booking link and confirm your mobile number, the agent asks for your permission to send it by text and reads back the last four digits of the number it would send to.
A message is sent only after you clearly agree. If you decline, or if your answer is unclear, no text is sent and the agent offers to send the link by e-mail instead. Agreeing to receive a text is never required in order to make a reservation.
What you receive
One message per request, containing the hotel’s name and the reservation link you asked for. The message states that your reservation is not confirmed until you complete it through the link.
Frequency, cost, and how to stop
- Frequency: one message per request.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply from your carrier. Neither Resonata nor the hotel charges you for the message.
- Stop: reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation and nothing further. Reply START to resume.
- Help: reply HELP to any message, or e-mail support@resonata.io.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and device. The program is supported on major U.S. carriers.
Your mobile information
Your mobile number is used only to send the link you requested and to honor STOP and HELP requests. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
